May 26, 2013 was one of the most memorable and special days that I have ever encountered. I had the pleasure of watching one of my very best friends/ sister-from-another-mister/ forever-roommate walk down the aisle to her future. As I talked about in my MOH speech on the evening of the wedding, I have had the honor of witnessing first hand the relationship that Kay and Josh have developed over the last 7 years. I’ve witnessed the ups and downs, the moves they have made from a semi long distance relationship to moving in together to their first townhome apartment & then their 2nd rental home on the lake. I’ve watched them purchase Josh’s grandparents’ house as their forever home, the ridiculous baby talk and nicknames they have for each other, the burning rage that flashes through Kay’s eyes when Josh walks through the house with his muddy shoes on, and the precious flowers & notes that Josh has left for Kaylyn just because. They’re precious in their own little way and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these folks. Josh & Kay… this blog is for YOU! Enjoy amigos! Reception photos coming soon!
Very very important note:
By taking on the role as Maid of Honor, I was not the lead photographer for this wedding, but rather the “director of photography and photo editor.” I couldn’t have been more pleased to have had my Blondarazzi shoot Mr. & Mrs. Davis’ wedding! Some frames from this special wedding were taken by me, but the majority were captured by Eva Rudolph and Meryl Norkett. You ladies are so awesome & I can’t thank you guys enough for allowing me to play MOH for the day! Muah! XOXO Big thanks also to Rachel Banister for snapping photos & helping out where help was needed!! You rock!
