Charlotte NC Wedding Photographer // An Engagement Session

When one of my best friends came to me and told me that she had fallen in love with a guy that lived hundreds of miles away, I looked at her like she was legitimately insane. My immediate thought was, “How in the world could anyone make a long distance relationship work?” Months later they started talking about marriage and I still thought, “This girl is crazy.”

THEN I met him for the first time, he committed to move across the country for her, and the more I hung out with both of them together I started to realize just why this relationship was going to work. Mallory and Josh are opposite in all of the right ways and similar in ways that legitimately blow my mind. I look at them and see a love that’s easy, effortless, and genuine. I look at them and see happiness in Mallory that I’ve never seen in a decade of best friendship. I’m so excited that I’ll be standing beside her on her wedding day in March.
