Everything about Jill and Mark’s wedding was absolutely perfect. The weather was amazing, Jill was beyond stunning, and there was no doubt that Mark was made the happiest man on earth on October 5, 2014. I can truthfully say that I’ve never been to a wedding that had so many genuine, heartfelt speeches made. There is no question that Jill and Mark are loved by many and it was beautiful witnessing Jill and Mark’s love for one another unfold throughout their day. The uniqueness of their wedding was off the charts and I wish these two a thousand years of happiness together! Like the quote said on their guest book table, “It’s never too late to live happily ever after.”
The video below is what I sent Jill & Mark as a way for them to view their wedding photos for the first time. If you have the time, I encourage you to watch the video as well. It’s such a better way to view the images than just by simply scrolling through. Enjoy!

Jill and Mark also incorporated something into their wedding that I’d never seen before. They asked their guests to perform a Ring Warming. Each of their rings were placed into dishes labeled “Mr” & “Mrs” and then passed throughout the crowd so that each person could touch and bless their ring as they passed by.
One of Jill’s best friends gave an incredible reading that was adapted from the essay “The Art of Marriage” by Wilfred A. Peterson. The reading was so awesome that I wanted to share it here as inspiration…
A good marriage must be created. In the art of marriage, the little things are the big things…
It is never being too old to hold hands. It is remembering to say “I love you” at least once each day.
It is never going to sleep angry. It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives. It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family.
It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget.
It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow. It is finding room for the things of the spirit. It is a common search for the good and the beautiful.
It is not only marrying the right partner… it is being the right partner.
All of the flower arrangements from this wedding were TO DIE FOR! I LOVED all of the variation.
Of course their wedding at the Earl Scruggs Center wouldn’t be complete without a live jazz band!Yet another unique detail added to their wedding… Instead of having a garter and bouquet toss, they had a Teddy Bear Toss so that all of the kids at the wedding could go home with a sweet gift.
Congrats Jill + Mark! Your wedding day was absolutely amazing and we truly wish you the best!
